From learning the controls, and how to move off and stop, right through to negotiating the Bermuda Park, or Ricoh roundabouts, each lesson will be tailored to suit your needs.

The Driving Standards Agency suggest you will require an average of 45 hours professional training combined with 22 hours of private practice.

This is, of course, just an average, some people will need less, and some will need more, but if you do hourly lessons, on average, it will take over 10 months to learn to drive. With two hour lessons this could be less than 5 months.

No instructor can guarantee a test pass! It totally depends on what happens on the day.

What I can guarantee is that I will teach you everything you need to know in order to pass!

Preparing for your test

wp9b156f1a.jpg
You will be taught the skills you will
need for safe driving for the rest of
your life, not just how to pass your
test. Each skill you learn will be
noted in your record book so you
can recap what you have learnt at
any time between lessons
ie. before going out on a private practice session.

Most lessons are scheduled for 2 hours, but in certain circumstances eg. before a driving test, 1 hour lessons will be given.

With such a large amount of traffic on the roads these days, it take so long to get anywhere, and i generally find that 1 hour is not enough time to fit everything in. Also, if you learning a new skill, by the time you started doing well, it would be time to go home!

You would be surprised how much you can forget in the time between driving lessons! You will therefore be able to cover much more in five 2 hour lessons than in ten 1 hour lessons, as you will only have to get yourself set up to drive 5 times, and only have to remember what you did last week 5 times!
